We are very proud of our facilities, services, and staff at Catoctin Veterinary Clinic. You may know that your pet is in good hands, based on credentials, but you also get the feeling when you enter the clinic that this is a place that knows how to intuitively take care of your pet. Next time your pet needs medical attention, give Catoctin Veterinary Clinic a call. Both you and your “family member” will be glad you did.

Caring for Your Pet

Pet ownership is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have.

Being a responsible pet owner, however, requires providing the best care when your pets are ill and protecting them when well. Spend some time educating yourself about your pet, and the chances of having serious medical disorders and other issues can be greatly reduced. Following are some tips to help you keep your pet as fit as can be and enjoy each other’s companionship to its fullest.

Remember, every pet should have an annual visit with a veterinarian for a physical exam and vaccinations, if needed. As spring approaches, ask about heartworm prevention and flea and tick treatment.
