Dr. Marta Acha has been a practicing veterinarian for over 35 years now, 26 of those years she served our country as an Army veterinarian. Dr. Acha attended Virginia Tech for undergraduate studies and then graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. She offers a wealth of knowledge to our practice and new services such as acupuncture and a wholistic approach to medicine. Dr. Acha is currently studying for her Masters in Herbal Manufacturing and Design as she follows her passion and approach to medicine.

Dr. Acha has been a Loudoun County resident since 1988 and in that time traveled to 76 countries. Her worldly exposure and drive for education has allowed her to become fluent in Spanish, German and Italian. Dr. Acha loves both dogs and cats and owned many over her lifetime. She currently has one 18.5 year-old diabetic kitty in her household. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, sailing, hiking and skiing.
