Dr. Tatiana Robinson
Dr. Robinson grew up on a small horse farm in Manassas, VA where she developed her love of animals. After graduating from James Madison University with her undergraduate degree she moved to Colorado for 10 yrs to continue her education. She earned her masters degree in epidemiology prior to completing her veterinary degree at Colorado State University in 2012. During veterinary medical school Dr. Robinson was awarded a Health Professional Scholarship Program scholarship from the US Army.
After graduating from veterinary medical school, Dr. Robinson was commissioned as a Captain in the US Army and completed a 1 yr US Army internship at Ft Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. Her active-duty army career kept her in NC for three more years where she served as the Officer in Charge of the veterinary medical clinic at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville NC. She completed her Army career with 4 yrs in the reserves while starting her civilian career in veterinary medicine. For the last 7 yrs she has been working in Chesapeake VA as an associate veterinarian at a small animal practice.
Dr. Robinson has a passion for preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic lameness exams, sports medicine, and chronic and acute pain management. Dr. Robinson is also certified in acupuncture and is looking forward to being able to offer this service to patients at Catoctin Veterinary Clinic.
When not at work, you can find her at the barn spending time with her animal: two horses (Guinness and Jäger), two dogs (Ember and Apollo). She also enjoys gardening. She recently started riding her younger horse, Jäger, and is looking forward to starting their show career together.
